Not to worry Mandy---you're not out of touch. Sanctus Real is just very indie. Not a lot of mainstream exposure yet. I'm glad you like the link. It's just a right click and copy inside iTunes. I wish more people would do that, I love finding out about new music.
On being one of the cool parents, I think I can say that I'm not a parent who tries but isn't----because I don't try. :-)
I just tell them that I'm going and would they like to come along, and the rest is up to them. They seem to like it though, because the keep asking when the next one is going to be.
Mandy, I just wanted to inform you that, yeah, my dad is WAY cool. Anyone who has ever met him will agree. 'Cause, you know, there is no way that I would have an uncool hero. No way. Just couldn't happen.
