Parent Teacher Conferences
Tonight was parent teacher conferences. It went well. Kitten is doing very well in school and is such a enthusiastic participant that her teachers love having her in class.
But the question that kept playing in my mind as I sat there looking across into her teacher's faces was:
"How old are you, anyway?"
They all got so young. When he heck did that happen.
Sheesh.

I had to laugh reading your comment about how young the teachers look...check out what happened to one of my coworkers yesterday... A while back, she went somewhere to have something notarized. She returned to work and told her coworker she'd been shamelessly flirting with the notary, even though he looked really young. Fast forward a few months...yesterday she walks into a classroom to tell a sub something, looks up...and it's the notary guy! She said she turned bright red, mumbled something incoherent and beat a hasty retreat. :)
Oh boy ... I think I'm glad my son graduated a couple of years ago and that I don't have parent-teacher conferences anymore ... I would be feeling *so* old!
But, thinking back ... I don't ever recall MY teachers being that young when I was in school, either. They all seemed, 'old' to my young little self.
Oh, it's all about perspective, isn't it?
